Although shade structures are suitable for all domestic and commercial applications they are most commonly used in day care / child care centers, schools and over play ground equipment.

Unlike more random shapes achievable with shade sails they are basically rectangular or square in shape, with sloped or peaked looking roof.

They use structurally lighter steel than shade sails, to create a self supporting frame within the structure and generally require smaller concrete footings or bolt down foot plates.

They are only available with industrial grade shade cloth (Coolaroo, Rainbow Shade and Supa Shade Plus) covers.

Shade structures are the best coverage per square meter value for money, form of shade cover available as they have straighter sides and greater height in the center.
